The Urn Workshop at Flower Aggregate with Fever Dream Floral will give florists the chance to design and take home a large urn style arrangement filled with only the best pesticide free, regionally sourced flowers. Urns can be challenging...let's make them easy!
Large arrangement design is all about understanding and creating depth, balance, and visual pathways so the arrangement feels dynamic and explosive. The workshop will cover principles and techniques of design, mechanic tips and tricks, and give florists a step by step design roadmap so they can approach every urn with confidence. After a design demonstration, students will design their own urns with plenty of one on one instruction and feedback provided by Zara.
Zara is a professional floral freelancer and the owner of Fever Dream Floral, a eco conscious floral studio based in NYC that focuses on using regionally sourced flowers and sustainable methods. A ten year industry veteran, Zara has worked in just about every facet of the floral industry, building a resume of experiences and knowledge that she is passionate about sharing with others. As an educator, she has coined the term "Be a Better Florist", offering workshops, guides, and mentoring to florists at every stage in their career.
